The Regional Forum of the Zhambyl Region
On September 11th, as part of the 11th Civil Forum of Kazakhstan, the Regional Civil Forum took place in the Zhambyl Region.
The Akim (Governor) of the Zhambyl Region participated in the plenary session of the 11th Civil Forum of the Zhambyl Region, themed "State. Society. Business. Partnership in Building a Just Kazakhstan."
The forum was attended by public activists from the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, as well as from the Kyzylorda, Turkestan, Almaty, and Zhetysu regions.
During the forum, a trilateral memorandum was signed with several major enterprises of the region to provide support measures to non-governmental organizations, including grant funding and the implementation of significant projects.
The discussion on the role of non-governmental organizations in society continued during the panel sessions. The participants also visited the exhibition "Taraz - the City of Craftsmen."
