Civil Forum of Karaganda Region

Today, the Civil Forum of the Karaganda Region is being held under the theme “Modern Formats for Supporting and Developing Civic Initiatives.”

The plenary session in the first half of the forum featured welcoming remarks from Alibek Aldeney, Deputy Akim of the Region; the Chairperson of the Committee for Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan; and the Chairperson of the Civil Alliance of the Karaganda Region.

The first part of the forum took place in a constructive and substantive atmosphere, bringing together representatives of government, NGOs, the expert community, and youth. The work will continue in the afternoon with breakout sessions focusing on digitalization, the development of non-governmental organizations, the role of youth, and partnerships with trade unions.
