Civil Forum of Ulytau Region

Today, the Ulytau Region hosted the Civil Forum under the theme “Fundraising – Sustainability of Non-Governmental Organizations.” The main goal of the event was to strengthen the capacity of the civil sector, discuss ways to ensure the financial stability of NGOs, and enhance partnerships between government bodies, business, and civil society.
The forum brought together the Deputy Akim of the Region, a representative of the Committee for Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an analyst from the Constitutional Court, the Vice President of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of the Qazaqstan Khalkyna Public Foundation.
The sessions explored opportunities for digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence in fundraising, along with both traditional and innovative models that ensure the sustainable development of NGOs. Participants exchanged experiences, discussed the development of regional social initiatives, and examined modern fundraising tools, identifying future directions for the growth of civil society.
