The Regional Forum of the Almaty Region
The main objectives of the regional forum that took place on August 17 in the Almaty region were the partnership between the government and NGOs in the development of rural areas and the promotion of civic initiatives in rural areas. The event was held as part of the 11th Civil Forum of Kazakhstan.
The forum began with a visit to the agribusiness center of the Local Communities Fund in the Enbekshikazakh district, which is designed to conduct training events on business planning, vegetable farming, and accounting for rural residents.
In addition to the participants' speeches, several local activities took place during the forum, including:
- Partner presentations;
- Discussion platforms;
- Exhibition of successful social projects;
- Potential partnership agreements and others.
Based on the speeches and exchange of opinions, the forum participants formulated recommendations for local executive bodies.
