Adibai Aidana Baurzhanqyzy — Youth, Responsibility, and Reforms
During the round table held in Astana by the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, Adibai Aidana Baurzhanqyzy, Chair of the Academic Council of Student Representatives at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, highlighted the role of youth in constitutional reforms and their engagement in public life.
In her speech, the speaker emphasized:
“Today’s reforms support youth but also expect a responsible stance from them.
First — activity. The state engages youth in the decision-making process. Therefore, the reform expects young people not to remain silent, to participate in public discussions, and to express their opinions openly.
Second — responsibility. The opportunities provided are not only rights but also duties. Youth are expected to respect the law, be dedicated to work, and care about the fate of the country.
Third — knowledge and professionalism. During the current reform period, the state expects youth not only to have a diploma but also practical skills, competitiveness, and a culture of continuous development.
Fourth — initiative and innovation. Youth should be not only implementers of reforms but also sources of ideas. Social projects, entrepreneurship, and innovation are the driving forces of reform.
Fifth — unity and civic stance. Youth must be a unifying force in society, not a divisive one. Following both national values and modern ideas is a key requirement.
The youth community is ready to be a constructive partner in this process.
We are ready to take initiative, implement it, and take responsibility,” she emphasized.
