During the round table organized by the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan in Astana, Bekmurat Dias Bekmuratuly, Director of the private fund “Bolashaqqa Qozğalys,” shared his views on constitutional reforms and the role of civil society.

In his speech, the speaker emphasized:
“The new changes clarify citizens’ right to participate in state affairs. This is an important signal. Public initiatives should no longer remain only at the advisory level but must be able to influence the decision-making process. For us, the key issue is the real implementation of this right.
We also consider norms regarding the status of NGOs to be important. The civil sector should not be an object of suspicion, but recognized as part of social stability. If a partnership principle between the state and society is established, it will reduce social tension and ensure shared responsibility,” he stressed.
