Within the framework of the “Development of Rural Civic Initiatives” project, we continue to highlight grant recipients and the results of their work.
One prominent example is the initiative of the Private Fund “Gift a Garden to the Earth,” which is implementing the project “Let’s Make Our Homeland Bloom!” The project aims to provide access to planting materials and support civic initiatives for greening the territories of the native region.
Activities took place in the village of Orlovka, the settlement of Atameken, and the Aksu district of Pavlodar region.
🔹 In Orlovka village, 500 pine seedlings were dug up, delivered, and planted, with 20 people participating in the planting.
🔹 In Atameken settlement, another 250 pine seedlings were planted, with 50 participants joining the initiative.
🔹 In Aksu district, 250 seedlings were delivered: 60 trees were planted by children, and the rest were distributed to local schools and kindergartens.
For the young participants, a seminar titled “The Future of the Earth Depends on You” was also held, focusing on environmental issues and ways to address them. It was attended by 24 adults and 60 children.
