Referendum Schedule Announced: Voting Will Take Place on March 15

The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved the key dates for the referendum. The results will be announced within seven days of voting.

Key stages:

February 12 – March 14 – Campaign period

February 21 – Approval of commission composition and polling station boundaries

February 22 – Submission of voter lists

February 27 – March 4 – Informing citizens about polling locations and times

March 12–14 – Delivery of ballots to polling stations

March 14 – Silence day

March 15 – Main voting day, from 07:00 to 20:00
