Updates from the Astana trip: The first day of the Study Tour is underway

With the support of the “Information and Public Development Department of Mangystau Region” and organized by the “Civil Alliance” NGO, we are participating in a number of important events and meetings in the capital.

As part of the program, meetings are planned at:
— The Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
— The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan
— KazMedia Center
— Representatives of the “Kazakhstan Khalkyna” Foundation

Additionally, over the three-day program, the following topics will be covered:
• Regional development issues
• Improving legislation on public councils
• Strengthening civil society institutions
• Mechanisms for supporting social initiatives
• Committee interviews
• Discussion of proposals and opinions from community representatives from the regions
