On October 15–16, Astana hosted the largest public dialogue platform in the country — the XII Civic Forum of Kazakhstan.
This year’s theme: “A Just Kazakhstan: Partnership Between Civil Society and the State”.

The forum served as an important platform for strengthening the partnership between society and the state, building a just society, promoting a culture of charity, discussing artificial intelligence and digital transformation, inclusion, and environmental initiatives. Participants included government bodies, NGOs, experts, and active citizens.

For me, the forum was a source of new ideas, inspiration, partnerships, and mutual support.
The more open and trustworthy the dialogue between the state and civil society, the stronger the country’s development will be.

Within the forum, NGOs from Mangystau Region were recognized as leaders in civil society and awarded at the national level!
This is clear evidence of the region’s civic engagement, social responsibility, and contribution to public consensus.

 Awardees:

  • Zhaksygul Makhambetova — “Mangystau Local Initiative Center” (Youth policy and children’s initiatives)
  • Nikar Rafikova — “Mangystau Consumer Rights Protection Society” (Rights protection)
  • Aues Sagynaeva — “Altyn Oymak” (Culture and arts development)
  • Tolkyn Kusainova — “Parasat Aktau”
  • Gulnur Kushanova — “Rukhtan” (Honorary award in charity)
  • Gulzira Esetova — “Salamatty El”
  • Bibigul Ramazanova — “Riza Ana”
  • Irina Tatieva — “Green School TAZA.LIKEE”

The participation of the Mangystau Region NGO delegation in the Astana forum was organized by the Mangystau Regional Civic Alliance within the framework of the state social order of the Department of Information and Public Development of Mangystau Region.

The work of Mangystau organizations is a nationally recognized achievement, and their active engagement is an example for others!
