In June, an independent monitoring was conducted to assess the implementation of funds allocated for landscaping the территории of the municipal public institution “Kyzyltobe Lyceum” in the Munaily District of Mangystau Region.

According to the Department of Education, the public procurement was carried out through a “request for price quotations.” A total of 800,000 tenge was allocated for the project, and Individual Entrepreneur “Kuanbayeva G.U.” was selected as the contractor. The contract amount totaled 605,000 tenge.

According to the technical specifications:

• 60 trees (30 deciduous, 30 fruit trees),
• 70 rose bushes,
• planting of saplings with a height of at least 1.5–3 meters.

However, during the monitoring conducted in June, several discrepancies were identified. A full inspection of the территории revealed that:

• the number of trees does not match the contract specifications,
• some saplings have dried out,
• all 70 rose bushes are completely missing.

This situation raises justified concerns regarding the full implementation of the public procurement contract.
