We are pleased to announce the launch of the initiative “Protecting the Labor Rights of Women Migrants in Mangystau Region”

The project addresses one of the pressing social issues — the lack of formal employment for women migrants. Without a labor contract, they are deprived of legal protection, social guarantees, and often face labor exploitation: delayed wages, discrimination, and unsafe working conditions become a part of everyday reality for many.

Within the project, we will:

• monitor compliance with labor rights,
• study the current legislation,
• organize interviews and focus groups with women migrants, employers, and government agencies,
• prepare an analytical report and recommendations,
• hold a roundtable with key stakeholders.

The goal is to raise awareness, promote formal employment for women migrants, and strengthen their legal protection.
