Today, a new Constitution has been adopted in the Republic of Kazakhstan — the fundamental law defining the strategic directions for the country’s further development.
The adoption of the new Constitution marks an important stage of political modernization aimed at strengthening the principles of justice, rule of law, and accountability, as well as fostering an open and sustainable society.
The updated constitutional provisions enhance the role of citizens in public administration, expand mechanisms for public participation in decision-making processes, and create additional conditions for the development of civil society institutions.
The Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan views the adoption of the new Constitution as an important step toward strengthening interaction between the state and society, as well as forming an effective and active civic environment.
