The results of landscaping public spaces in Batyr village, Mangystau region, are disappointing.

According to public monitoring carried out by local residents and activists, the condition of the Central Park and the park in the Emir neighborhood is unsatisfactory. Trees are drying out, the area is neglected, and the work was poorly executed.

The monitoring revealed that only 20–30% of the trees planted in Central Park remain “alive.” The rest have dried out due to lack of watering. The soil has dried out severely, and no irrigation system was installed.

Additionally, maintenance work (loosening, weeding, sanitary pruning) has not been carried out.

The situation in the park in the Emir neighborhood is even worse. Not a single new tree planted in 2024 has survived. Older trees have also died due to lack of watering. The park area is neglected and overgrown with weeds. Photo documentation clearly shows this situation.
