Mangystau Region
On May 12, the European Union Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Aleška Simkič, visited Mangystau Region on a working trip and met with representatives of local non-governmental organizations.
During the meeting, pressing societal issues were discussed, and the Ambassador inquired about the challenges raised by the civic sector. NGO representatives asked questions of concern and exchanged opinions.
Additionally, the Ambassador familiarized himself with initiatives that received grant support within the framework of the project implemented by the Mangystau Regional Civil Alliance.
