On May 18, 2023, in the city of Zhanaozen, a The World Cafe event was held to discuss important issues facing rural communities.
The event was attended by rural entrepreneurs, local community members, and administrative staff of Zhanaozen city.
Participants discussed common issues in the district and shared their proposals for addressing them. They were also introduced to the rules and application form for the small grants competition announced within the framework of the project.
The “Developing Villages Together” project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center for Support of Civic Initiatives – CSCI.
