Initiated by the Kyzylorda Regional Civil Alliance and moderated by its Chair Anar Izden Zharlykasynkyzy, a meeting was held at the House of Friendship to systematize the work of non-governmental organizations based on the sectoral principle, within the framework of implementing the recommendations of the XII Regional Civil Forum “The Role of Civil Society in Rural Development.”

Representatives of regional authorities and NGOs participated, discussing the development of partnerships in healthcare, social support, employment, agriculture, land relations, ecology, and natural resources.

During the open dialogue:

  • future plans of government agencies for collaboration with NGOs were presented;
  • pressing questions were raised;
  • concrete proposals and initiatives were voiced.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between civil society and government structures and to establish joint work in line with statutory objectives.

Key topics discussed included:
• In which projects and grants are NGOs ready to cooperate in healthcare, employment, agriculture, and ecology?
• Are quotas provided for free recreational spots and medical services for veterans and pensioners?
• Is it possible to subsidize NGO employees through employment centers?
• How can NGOs participate in monitoring the quality of medical services?
• To whom and where should NGOs turn if systemic problems are identified?

The summary of proposals and recommendations will be published during the upcoming “World NGO Day.”
