– President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during the V meeting of the National Kurultai, emphasized the importance of encouraging patriotism in all its forms. He noted that patriotism is love for one’s homeland, but without civic responsibility and a willingness to contribute to the country, it loses its full meaning.

“Today, society is discussing important questions about where and when it is appropriate to use the State Flag of Kazakhstan. These procedures are regulated by specific norms and rules. A careless or negligent attitude toward state symbols is unacceptable. It is important to follow not only the letter but also the spirit of the law. Expressions of patriotism should be encouraged, including the respectful and appropriate use of national symbols,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Whenever we go on search missions, we always take the flag of Kazakhstan with us. This is one of the expressions of patriotism toward our homeland. We are Kazakhstanis, and we demonstrate this abroad, setting an example for the younger generation.
