Meeting on Youth Radicalization Prevention Held in Karaganda
As part of the project to enhance religious literacy among the population of Karaganda, a meeting was held with the coaching and teaching staff, administrative personnel, and students aged 14–18 of the Regional Specialized Children and Youth School of Olympic Reserve in Cycling.
The speaker was Dmitry Sergeyevich Poltarenko — Chairman of the Mediation Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Karaganda region, Head of the Karaganda branch of the NGO “Counter-Terrorism Committee,” Moderator of the Club of MRO Leaders in Karaganda region, and member of the Republican informational-explanatory group on religion under the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting addressed issues of youth radicalization prevention, the formation of legal culture, and understanding the principles of a secular state.
