A meeting was held at the Department of Education with representatives of non-governmental organizations regarding the placement of a state social order on the topic “Organization of professional development courses for preschool educators working with children with autism spectrum disorders.”

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

• current questions regarding the training of teaching staff
• content and format of the upcoming courses
• mechanisms for implementing the state social order

Special attention was given to the increasing number of children with autism spectrum disorders and the need for systematic psychological and pedagogical support in preschool education institutions.

NGO representatives shared their proposals and initiatives, discussed practical experience in working with children with special educational needs, and outlined potential directions for further cooperation.
