As part of crime prevention efforts, an informational meeting was held with library staff in the Central Library System of Shakhtinsk.
During the event, the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan was discussed, including rules prohibiting the wearing of clothing that hinders personal identification in public places, as well as how these rules relate to religious practices.
Library staff, as participants in educational and outreach work, received explanations to further inform the public and help prevent violations.
