SOCIETY AND VOLUNTEERS UNITED TO PRESERVE CULTURAL HERITAGE

As part of implementing the поручение of the Head of State announced at the Volunteer Forum dedicated to the opening of the International Year of Volunteers 2026, and as a continuation of the “Tazaru Kuni” initiative, the national campaign “Let’s Preserve Cultural Heritage Together” has been launched in Kazakhstan.

The campaign is implemented by the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan within the framework of the “Madenietti Mura” project. The project aims to preserve historical and cultural heritage and promote environmental  and civic responsibility.

Representatives of the non-governmental sector are actively participating in the campaign, organized by the Civil Alliance of the Turkestan Region with the support of the Association of Business Women of the Turkestan Region.

As part of the campaign, the following were planted:
100 fruit trees,
30 spruce trees,
100 rose bushes.

The official opening of the campaign took place on March 31, 2026.
The event was held at the Gauhar Ana Mausoleum in the Turkestan Region.

 Today, the preservation of historical monuments and cultural spaces is of particular importance.
This campaign aims to unite the efforts of civil society, volunteers, NGOs, government bodies, and local communities in cleaning, landscaping, and preserving sites of historical and cultural significance.

 Within the campaign, the following activities are planned:

  • volunteer events for cleaning and improvement of cultural heritage sites,
  • awareness-raising and educational activities involving youth and the public.

This initiative aims to strengthen unity among citizens, volunteers, and organizations in preserving cultural values and fostering environmental responsibility.
