Seminar on Enhancing Religious Literacy Held in Otrar District

A seminar titled “Enhancing Religious Literacy: Knowledge and Harmony” was held in the Otrar district, aimed at improving the qualifications of specialists responsible for the religious sector and local imams. The event was organized by the Internal Policy Department of the Otrar District Akimat.

The speaker of the seminar was Zhusipbek Aidarbekuly Kassymbekov, Master’s degree holder and Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Theology of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

During the meeting, participants discussed актуальные issues in the religious sphere and explored ways to strengthen social stability and harmony. They also exchanged experience on improving the religious knowledge of imams, conducting effective awareness-raising activities, and strengthening preventive measures.

The seminar contributed to enhancing the professional competencies of imams, improving the quality of religious outreach work, and strengthening coordination of ongoing activities.
