The President highlighted the role of NGOs at the National Kurultay
Yesterday, at the IV session of the National Kurultay in Burabay, the President highly appreciated the contribution of civil society and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to the country’s development. According to the President, NGOs are the main bridge for a trusted dialogue between society and the government. Several key areas were also highlighted for improvement:
- Improving the State Social Order
To establish effective partnerships between the state and NGOs, the state social order needs optimization. A special law involving public organizations and experts was tasked for development.
- Support for Social Projects
The active role of NGOs in addressing pressing social issues is crucial. On the President’s initiative, part of the funds recovered from illegally withdrawn assets will be allocated to develop social facilities. This enables NGOs to expand the scope of social services.
- Addressing Key Social Issues
The President drew attention to the misuse of charitable funds, information fraud, and fake coaches. Cooperation with NGOs in these areas was emphasized.
- Protection of Women and Children
Tasks were assigned to improve conditions in women’s colonies and strengthen social protection for women with minor children. NGOs can play an important role in this area.
These initiatives open new opportunities for NGOs. The state demonstrated its readiness to strengthen cooperation with civil society institutions.
