On September 25, 2025, Daniya Kydyrbayeva, head of the Jetyisu Regional Civil Alliance, participated in a regional forum in Kyzylorda Region on the topic “The Role of Civil Society in Rural Development.”

Regional Forum in Kyzylorda

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the role of NGOs in rural development, exchange experience, and identify effective solutions.

Topics discussed at the forum:

1. Methods to engage active citizens, youth, women, retirees, and teachers in community life in rural areas;
2. Social services of NGOs in rural areas and their significance for society;
3. The role of civil society in monitoring state programs — assessing the implementation of school, clinic, road, and water supply projects, ensuring efficient budget use, and promoting fairness;
4. Passing on respect for elders, generational continuity, and national traditions to youth through unity. 

Such forums strengthen regional partnerships and enhance the contribution of civil society to rural development.

Visit organization:
The exchange visit was organized with the support of the Jetyisu Regional Public Development Department within the framework of the “Civil Center for NGOs of Jetyisu Region” project.

The visit strengthened collaboration among NGOs, contributed to civil society development, and expanded partnership networks between regions.
