As part of the travel grant competition, Elmyra Smagulova and I visited Astana

Elmyra presented our project #DefactoMediaHab, where young people with disabilities work as journalists. She herself is a 4th-year journalism student and already serves as the project’s producer

We exchanged experiences, gained new ideas, and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the NGO “Youth Society of People with Disabilities.”

This trip was a step toward new opportunities!

The exchange visit was organized with the support of the Jetyisu Regional Public Development Department within the framework of the “Civil Center for NGOs of Jetyisu Region” project.
