Today, at the Employment and Social Programs Coordination Department of the Zhetysu Region, a roundtable was held on: “Discussion of Social Protection Issues for Socially Vulnerable Groups and Persons with Disabilities”.

The event was attended by members of the Expert Council under the Representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Zhetysu Region and heads of NGOs.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Expert Council, Kanat Batandovich Karymsakov, who emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue and joint decisions to increase the effectiveness of social support measures.

The head of the Department, Yermek Arinkhanovich Mizambayev, provided a detailed report on the work carried out in the region aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens in difficult life situations.

The Expert Council members discussed pressing issues and proposed several solutions aimed at further improving the social protection system.

The joint discussion became an important step in strengthening cooperation between state bodies and civil society institutions in protecting the rights and interests of socially vulnerable groups.
