On August 7, in Zhansugurov village of Aksu district, a meeting was held between the Civil Center for NGOs of Zhetysu Region and representatives of NGOs and civil society. The event was organized with the support of the Zhetysu Regional Department of Public Development.

Zhanat Tulemisova provided detailed information on the following key topics:

• Recent changes in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding NGO activities
• National grants and NGO awards
• Innovations in state social procurement and the establishment of expert councils
• Updates to Article 10 of the Law “On Public Associations” — now only 3 founders are required to establish a public association

These changes are related to the introduction of universal income declaration starting from 2026. Heads of public associations will be responsible for the reporting of founders and their spouses.

Participants were informed about the importance of submitting reports through the digital platform Esep.govtec.kz.
Individual consultations were also conducted, where participants received answers to all their questions.
