On April 3, a meeting of the Council for Interaction and Cooperation with NGOs was held under the chairmanship of Dias Rakhmetovich Yesdauletov, Deputy Akim of the Zhetysu Region.

Agenda items included:

• Implementation of the previous meeting’s protocol;
• Approval of the composition of expert councils;
• Experience of cooperation between NGOs and akimats of Kerbulak and Panfilov districts, as well as the city of Taldykorgan.

There are over 500 registered NGOs in the Zhetysu Region, with around 100 actively engaged in socially significant sectors.

This year, more than 1 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of 100 projects. Government bodies were tasked with establishing expert councils for monitoring and evaluation of projects implemented under the state social procurement system at all levels, as well as ensuring advance payment provisions in accordance with the Budget Code.
