Akmola Region
On July 23, a seminar for non-governmental organizations was held in the Akmola region within the framework of the project of the National Center for Civil Society Development “ADAL AZAMAT – BELSENDI QOGAM” titled “From Enthusiasm to Professionalism.”
During the discussion, participants addressed the sustainability of modern NGOs, their organizational, strategic, and competitive advantages among other civil society institutions (political parties, religious associations, national cultural centers, etc.). Special attention was given to how the adoption of the NGO law could influence the professional growth of organizations and strengthen their role in dialogue with government bodies.
Participants shared their project implementation experience, which was later successfully integrated into the education and healthcare systems, including inclusive education, medical support for children with autism spectrum disorders, and anti-bullying programs.
It was emphasized that successful cases are based on strong evidence built on scientific and sociological research and surveys, as well as sustainable funding from diverse sources. This enables long-term cooperation with both government bodies and grant providers.
At the same time, the experience of organizations operating solely on enthusiasm without systemic funding often includes interruptions in activities, emotional burnout, and limited opportunities for sustainable development.
The key concepts of the meeting — “enthusiasm” and “professionalism” — were demonstrated through practical experience and real NGO case studies.
