The role of NGOs in the implementation of the President's Address to the People of Kazakhstan was discussed by experts

The first meeting of the discussion club "Ustanym" was held today/Position", organized by the NGO "Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan" with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information.

The discussion club discussed issues of attracting the potential of NGOs in the effective implementation of the Message, in terms of strengthening projects aimed at improving financial, legal and environmental literacy of the population, activating the Coordination Center of Public Councils, strengthening the role of the Center for the Development of Civil Society and the importance of ensuring public control in all processes of holding a national referendum on the construction of nuclear power plants.

The event was attended by deputies of the Senate and the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, the expert and scientific community.

In her speech, Vice Minister of Culture and Information Aizada Kurmanova noted that the Head of State in his Message identified a number of important areas of socio-economic development of the country, the implementation of which requires the active participation and involvement of the civil sector from government agencies together with NGOs.

At the end of the meeting, the speakers expressed confidence that all the initiatives of the President will be supported and implemented directly with the participation of representatives of the non-governmental sector.
