A delegation of the winners of the travel grant has arrived in St. Petersburg

A delegation of the winners of the travel grant within the framework of the project "Support for civil initiatives in the field of international cooperation (at the sites of the Russian Federation)" with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, received in the cultural and historical direction, arrived in St. Petersburg.
Among them:
1. Dinara Utebayeva, Chairman of the Public Foundation "Civil Alliance of Kostanay region "Green", actively working on the development of civil society and the introduction of social initiatives in the region;
2. Alexandra Sergazinova, Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Kostanay Region, whose activities are aimed at the development and support of the journalistic community, as well as promotion from the media sphere;
3. Nurzhan Smailov, manager of "Zhanashyr bol", representing an organization working in the field of social assistance and charity.
During the visit, they plan to visit the Russian Geographical Society, one of the oldest scientific societies in Russia, which has played an important role in the study of geography, ethnography and history since the 19th century, including through the study of the territories of Kazakhstan.
One of the central topics of the visit will be participation in events dedicated to the study of the life and work of Shokan Valikhanov, an outstanding Kazakh scientist, ethnographer and traveler.
The delegation intends not only to study more deeply the archival materials and sources related to his activities, but also to take part in events aimed at popularizing his legacy.
