Members of the West Kazakhstan regional branch of the Republican Public Association of Veterans “Group of Soviet Forces in Germany and Group of Warsaw Pact Forces” took part in a winter sports event held in the village of Shalkar. They contributed to promoting a healthy lifestyle, strengthening intergenerational continuity, and enhancing unity among rural residents.

As part of the event, various sports games were organized for schoolchildren, who actively participated. The event had a significant impact on encouraging youth engagement in physical activities and fostering patriotic values.

Veterans including Yerbolat Gumarov, Mizambek Khairullin, Bakhyt Akashayev, and Azamat Orynbayuly actively participated, setting a positive example for young people.

Special thanks are extended to Zhanbolat Zholakov, artistic director of the Saryomir village House of Culture, Shynar Kairgul, school principal, as well as village elders Giniyat Daulbayev and Zhantemir Taskaliyev for their contribution to organizing and supporting the event. Their organizational and methodological support ensured the successful implementation of the initiative.

The Association of Legal Entities “Civil Alliance of the West Kazakhstan Region” consistently supports such important initiatives, placing special emphasis on patriotic education and promoting national values among youth. This event aimed to strengthen love for the homeland and foster civic responsibility among young people.
