Karaganda Region
On May 8, the gala concert of the XVII regional arts marathon (festival) “Scarlet Sails” was held at the House of Friendship. The festival annually brings together talented children and teenagers with special educational needs, as well as children from support centers for vulnerable youth and boarding institutions. This year’s event was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This year, nearly 400 children and teenagers from 30 organizations across the Karaganda Region participated in the marathon. More than 300 creative performances and artistic works were presented in various categories:
- вокал / vocal performance
- choreography
- instrumental performance
- theatre arts
- spoken word
- decorative and visual arts
- media arts
- original genre
As a result of the festival, 49 creative works received awards, including Grand Prix winners.
The gala concert became a vibrant celebration of creativity, kindness, and inspiration. On one stage, talent, sincere emotions, and children’s aspirations for self-realization came together
