As part of the project aimed at improving religious literacy among the population of Karaganda, a meeting was held with employees of the Transport Control Inspectorate of the Karaganda Region.

The speaker was Dmitry Sergeyevich Poltarenko, Chairman of the Mediation Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the Karaganda Region, Head of the Karaganda Regional Branch of the Public Association “Counter-Terrorism Committee,” Moderator of the Club of Heads of Religious Associations of the Karaganda Region, and Member of the Republican Information and Outreach Group on Religious Affairs under the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, participants discussed the dangers of social media and the risks of involvement in destructive pseudo-religious and religious movements.
