The event “New Constitution: The Foundation of Our Unity” was held at a high level. During the meeting, the importance of the new Constitution in the country’s development and the strengthening of the rule of law was widely discussed.

Speakers delivered topical presentations and shared views on the protection of human rights and freedoms, the development of the rule of law, and the significance of constitutional reforms.

At the end of the event, an award ceremony was held for active representatives of civil society. A number of participants were awarded the Order “Qurmet” and the Medal “For Meritorious Labor.” In addition, letters of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and regional governor awards were presented.

Among the awardees:
Bakhytzhan Zharmakhanuly Beisembayev — Head of the public association of mediators “Bitimger,” Chair of the Mediation Council under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Turkestan Region, and member of the Public Council of Turkestan Region. By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 7, 2026, he was awarded the Medal “For Meritorious Labor.”

Also, members of the Civil Alliance of Turkestan Region — Akmaral Kalmakhanovna Abdinabiyeva and Nasiba Alikhanovna Nuritdinova — received letters of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
