Information and Awareness-Raising Meeting on Interfaith Harmony

As part of the project “Organization of the Work of an Information and Awareness-Raising Group to Improve the Religious Literacy of the Population of Karaganda”, an information and awareness-raising meeting was held with an individual registered with the Probation Service of the Kazybek Bi District.

The speaker was Dmitry Sergeyevich Poltarenko, Chair of the Mediation Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the Karaganda Region, Head of the Karaganda Regional Branch of the Republican Public Association “Counter-Terrorism Committee,” Moderator of the Club of Heads of Religious Associations of the Karaganda Region, and a member of the Republican Information and Awareness-Raising Group on Religious Issues under the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, participants discussed the topic “Interfaith Harmony in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
