Open Day for NGOs and Citizens Held in Astana

On July 29, an Open Day for NGOs and citizens was held in Astana as part of the “Strategic Partnership” project.

The meeting brought together representatives of non-governmental organizations, civil society activists, city residents, OSI chairpersons, and housing sector specialists.

Chinara Mambetaliyeva, Executive Director of the Association of Housing Management, Service and Energy Service Entities “Shanyrak”, also joined the discussion.

Participants received legal and practical consultations and discussed NGO activities, the development of civic initiatives, volunteering, and effective cooperation with government authorities. Particular attention was paid to the issues faced by residents of apartment buildings and the role of OSI chairpersons in addressing matters of public importance.

It is important for us that this platform is open not only to NGO leaders, but also to citizens, initiative groups, and representatives of different professional communities. All proposals voiced during the meeting were taken into consideration and will be reflected in shaping the agenda for further work.
