As part of the project “Organization of the Work of an Information and Awareness-Raising Group to Improve the Religious Literacy of the Population of Karaganda,” an information and awareness-raising meeting was held with an individual registered with the Probation Service of the Kazybek Bi District.

The speaker was Dmitry Sergeyevich Poltarenko, Chairman of the Karaganda Region Mediation Council, Head of the Karaganda Region Branch of the Republican Public Association “Counter-Terrorism Committee,” Moderator of the Club of Heads of Religious Associations of Karaganda Region, and Member of the Republican Information and Awareness-Raising Group on Religious Issues under the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting focused on the topic “Preventing Radicalization and the Principles of Secularism in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
