Today, a meeting of the “Ustanым” Discussion Club of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan was held on the topic “Kurultai in the Context of Political Reforms: Public Demand, Election Results and Development Prospects.”
The participants discussed the role of the Kurultai in the modern political system, public expectations regarding its activities, issues related to representing citizens’ interests, and prospects for further development of the institution amid ongoing political reforms.
Particular attention was paid to public participation and interaction between the state and civil society. Participants shared expert assessments, identified current public demands, and discussed possible directions for further development of public dialogue.
Following the meeting, participants put forward a number of proposals and recommendations aimed at further developing mechanisms for public participation and strengthening cooperation between state institutions and the civil sector.
