Discussion on the return of illegally acquired assets to the State

The fifth meeting of the «Position» Discussion Club was held to discuss the return of illegally acquired assets to the state. The event brought together representatives of government agencies, experts and the public to discuss in detail the asset recovery process and its impact on the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan.

Special attention was paid to the recently approved asset recovery agreements worth more than 525 billion tenge. These funds have already been used to implement social and infrastructure projects in various regions of the country. Since the beginning of the year, the total amount of returned assets has amounted to more than 900 billion tenge.

The meeting ended with an active discussion, during which the participants could ask questions to the members of the Asset Recovery Commission and express their opinions on the current situation.
