A Meeting of the Public Council on Public Finance under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Was Held
The meeting addressed key issues in the field of public finance, including the draft republican budget for 2027–2029, the results of the reform of the public procurement system, and the progress of implementing the new Tax Code.
Vice Minister of Finance Abzal Beisenbekuly presented the main areas of the draft republican budget. Members of the Public Council discussed the priorities of budget policy, shared their proposals, and raised questions on specific issues.
Particular attention was paid to reforming the public procurement system. The discussion covered the digitalization and simplification of procedures, reducing the time required for procurement processes, the efficient use of budget funds, as well as measures to support domestic producers.
Participants were also briefed on the progress of implementing the new Tax Code. The changes are aimed at reducing tax reporting requirements, simplifying tax administration, and creating clearer and more transparent conditions for citizens and businesses.
Following the meeting, the importance of further improving budget and tax policy, as well as the public procurement system, while taking into account the interests of citizens and businesses, was emphasized.
