THE ACTIVITIES OF THE FORENSIC EXAMINATIONS CENTER IN AKMOLA REGION ARE BEING REVIEWED FOR CORRUPTION RISKS
The regional commission has begun analyzing the activities of a branch of the Republican State Enterprise “Center for Forensic Examinations.”
As part of the implementation of the Work Plan of the Public Council of Akmola Region and pursuant to joint orders of the relevant government bodies (No. 67 and No. 14), a comprehensive external analysis of corruption risks has been launched in the region.
The main objective of the monitoring is to identify systemic problems and conditions that may contribute to corruption-related offenses in the activities of the branch of the Republican State Enterprise “Center for Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
Igor Gennadyevich Plyusnin, a member of the Regional Public Council, joined the working commission. The participation of civil society representatives ensures:
- transparency of the analysis process;
- objective assessment of administrative barriers;
- an independent perspective on the institution’s internal procedures.
Why is this important?
Forensic examination is a key component of the justice system. The integrity and transparency of experts’ work directly affect the legality of decisions made and public trust in the state system. External analysis makes it possible not only to identify violations, but also to develop recommendations for improving the branch’s administrative processes.
