Roundtable on the Discussion of the President of Kazakhstan’s Address: Digitalization, Ecology, and Civil Society Development

On September 15, a roundtable organized by the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan was held in Astana, dedicated to a comprehensive discussion of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event served as a platform for constructive dialogue between government bodies and civil society.
The meeting brought together representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information, as well as leaders of leading non-governmental organizations and regional Civil Alliances. Special attention was given to the key priorities of the Address, including digitalization and environmental initiatives, the strengthening of civic identity, active engagement of youth in public and state processes, and the improvement of public oversight mechanisms. Speakers presented analytical reports and regional case studies, highlighting the integration of digital technologies into NGO activities and successful examples of cooperation between civil society organizations and government institutions.
The discussion took place in a dynamic format, enabling participants not only to debate pressing issues but also to propose practical steps for further collaboration between government, business, and the third sector. The outcome of the meeting was the development of recommendations that will form the basis for concrete projects to implement the initiatives outlined in the President’s Address and contribute to strengthening dialogue between the state and society.
