Development of Civic Initiatives in Rural Areas

Project Description

The Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of the Unified Grant Operator, is launching the project "Development of Civic Initiatives in Rural Areas."

As part of the project, annual training sessions and mentorship programs will be conducted for rural NGOs. The project will also offer consultations on accounting and legal matters, and award 18 small grants of 1 million tenge each on a competitive basis to support socially significant initiatives in rural communities. In addition, rural NGOs will have the opportunity to participate in internships with experienced organizations and experts.
