Promotion of volunteerism in the sphere of history and culture

Project Description

The Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of the Unified Grant Operator, is launching the project “Development of Volunteering in the Field of History and Culture.”

The project aims to promote volunteer initiatives in the preservation of historical and cultural heritage. It includes annual training programs for volunteers, the provision of 10 small grants of 1,000,000 KZT on a competitive basis, awareness campaigns, and the publication of collections featuring best practices.
The project will also contribute to the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development in 2026.
